This is traditional Victorian or Edwardian white Officer's Military Mess Dress shawl collar waistcoat, white ribbed cotton with adjustable back strap and a metal buckle. The front is low cut to show off the starched shirt front. The buttons are likely silver plated from the East Yorksire Regiment for an officer.

Measures edge to edge laid flat
- 40" chest.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition, the only flaws are foxing marks on the strap made by the rusty metal buckle and the buckle itself is tarnished. The buttons could polish up nicely when removed.
